At least two people were killed and several others injured in a shooting at the Salsa on St. Clair festival in Toronto on Saturday evening.

The violence broke out just after 8 p.m. at Canada’s largest Latin street festival.

Two victims were pronounced dead at the scene, while at least six people were found with gunshot wounds and were being treated for their injuries.

Reports from the scene described bystanders fleeing in panic as gunshots rang out.
