Change everything, so that nothing changes.

For a leader ruling by force of martial law, Kiev regime’s Volodymyr Zelensky does like to change his team.

While his presidential mandate from May 20, 2019, to 20 May 2024, has long expiredZelensky is about to appoint his fourth Prime Minister: he had Oleksiy Honcharuk from 2019 to 2020, Denys Shmyhal from 2020 to 2025, and currently Yulia Svyrydenko since 2025.

A few days before she completed one year at the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Yulia Svyrydenko was ousted by Zelensky, triggering the resignation ‌of the government.

Reuters reported:

“Zelensky did not specify who he would ask to lead the government or what Svyrydenko’s new position would be, but added that there would also be changes among the heads of law enforcement agencies.

He said the changes were needed to ‘ensure the implementation of an updated political strategy’, but gave no further details.

‘I am grateful to Yuliia for her clear, steady, and effective work as Prime Minister, for her years of productive service on Ukraine’s team, and I have offered her the opportunity to lead a new and important area of relations with a key partner’, Zelensky said on X. ‘I expect that, together with MPs, we will make the corresponding changes in the Government of Ukraine’.”

It’s unclear if the changes are connected to the largest corruption scandal in Ukraine’s history, the so-called Midas case, involving a $100 million kickback scheme at the state nuclear power company Energoatom.

“Authorities have accused Timur Mindich, Zelensky’s former business partner, of leading the kickback scheme and also named Zelensky’s former chief of staff Andriy Yermak as a suspect. Both have denied wrongdoing.”

Associated Press reported:

“In a statement on social media, Svyrydenko said she was ‘proud to have had the honor of leading the government during one of the most difficult periods in Ukraine’s modern history’. She also said she had discussed ‘next steps’ with Zelensky, but did not provide further details.

‘I remain ready to serve the Ukrainian state and carry out every task aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s position, defending our national interests and bringing a just peace closer’, she said.”

“Zelensky met with a series of senior officials following the announcement, including Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko and Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.

The overhaul, which Zelensky has yet to explain in detail, would be the fourth major reorganization of his government since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion.”
