The DC Medical Examiner released preliminary examination findings after the Senator’s sudden death.

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham passed away on Saturday night. He was 71 years old.

Audio of the 911 call revealed Lindsey Graham had chest pains before going into cardiac arrest at his DC home.

“The preliminary examination findings were: Aortic Dissection due to Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease,” Graham’s office said.

“The death certificate will be PENDING until all the toxicological and microscopic testing are finalized and at that point the death certificate will be updated to reflect the cause of death and appropriately classify the manner of death.”

The FBI is assisting with local authorities, however, Fox News reported that foul play is not suspected in Lindsey Graham’s death.

Later Sunday, President Trump ordered all American Flags lowered to half mast.
