An agent for Ukrainian Military Intel GUR has confessed to the murder.
Anastasiia Berezovska was the object of an international manhunt after CCTV showed her surveying the targeted Monaco house dressed as a man before the bombing.
And now, she’s dead. Is someone tying up loose ends?
The body of Berezovska, suspected of carrying out a bomb attack that targeted a wealthy Ukrainian-born businessman in Monaco last week, was found near Ukraine’s capital Kiev.

The Telegraph reported:
“After an international manhunt, her body was found overnight near the Ukrainian capital with gunshot wounds to the head and pistol casings nearby, Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) said on Tuesday.
The SBU added that an acting officer from Ukraine’s military intelligence agency (GUR) had confessed to killing Ms. Berezovska with the assistance of a former law enforcement officer, and that he had acted on his own initiative without informing superiors.”

“Ukrainian prosecutors said that Ms. Berezovska had received bank transfers and payments in cryptocurrency from the two men, meaning they would be treated as ‘individuals potentially involved in the attempted murder in Monaco’.
They added that during searches of suspects’ homes they had found a ‘basement room resembling a torture chamber’ and shared footage of the blood-stained room, in which axes, hammers and large tarpaulin sheets could be seen.”
