The Republican Party has been egging their base into absolute fits over the supposed dangers of trans Americans, an intentional move on their part to deflect from losing all the other culture wars they’ve waged in recent years, but there’s only one true deeply held belief in all of Republicanism, and that is “give us money.” If a newly announced Deeply Held Belief threatens the corporations that make big donations to Republican campaign coffers, there’s no question which side will be winning that fight.
